Melbourne, Australia: Introduction to Movement Shiatsu: focusing on the nervous system, fascia and fluids, the body's internal communication systems. We will be showing how to use bodywork techniques and guided movement to help the nervous system to create a true map of the body, to facilitate fascial communication and to use the hydraulic power of the fluids to support movement. This helps every part of the body to communicate and align with the rest of the organism. To read an article which gives more idea of this theme click here

Munich, Germany: Meridians and the Development of Movement - Bill Palmer's research has shown how infants learn how to coordinate their physical, emotional and mental capacities through movements that develop along the meridians. This explains the traditional location of meridians as pathways of movement along which children learn to use their body and develop their energetic capacities. By working with movement as well as touch, you can remind a client of how they originally learned these energy skills and re-awaken parts of the body that are not integrated into the whole.
Dates: 18-20 March 2016

Bonn, Germany: Working with the Elderly - As we age our energy levels decline. Change takes energy and as you get older it becomes more difficult to adapt. So it makes sense to start preparing for old age long before it arrives! In many Western cultures this third age is not valued but it is the ideal time for developing inner resources and spiritual capacities. In this workshop we will explore working with people in this third age and how to help them to develop these inner capacities. It will also show the specialist techniques from Movement Shiatsu for dealing with the problems of Old Age such as arthritis, osteoporosis, loss of balance and psycho-physical degeneration. Here is an article on this theme Working with Elders.
